The Point Resolution Footbridge was rebuilt with printed glass in order to accommodate the overhead wires for the new trains. The motif on the glass balustrade has nautical as well as indigenous references. Warren & Mahoney architects chose Metro Performance Glass to implement the artist's design with digital ceramic printing because of its permanence, robustness and because it was impossible to implement the required design using screen printing. Metro Performance Glass said, "No panel was the same, we were able to take DXF shapes and lay them over the artwork for perfect alignment using digital ceramic printing."
