The new Parkland Hospital was built to replace the 54-year-old Parkland Memorial Hospital. The main glass façade design is made out of the names of the project's contributors. The names were arranged in the shape of a tree and were printed digitally with ceramic inks in varying levels of opacity to create the intricate design. Oldcastle executed the architect's vision so that the finished look matched the artist's rendering. Oldcastle said, "Without Vibrantz, we would have had to prink in silk screen, which would have been cost prohibitive for 885 distinct panels".
